I think velvet shorts are super cute - high waisted and low. I think the pairing with the blue button up and cute combat boots make this look a bit edgy but cute and fun.I also like the idea of really simple makeup, very light corals and some top eyeliner because I felt that deep colors -like a deep red lipstick or burgundy would take away from the playfulness.
